KODO OSADA – PIANO – 2006
Kodo Osada began his musical studies at the age of 5 at the Julliard pre-college school in NewYork. He went on to study at Cheetham’s Music School in Manchester before finally moving to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London to study with Joan Havill where he now continues postgraduate studies. In 2000 Kodo reached the final of the BBC Young Musician of the Year. Kodo has participated in many master-classes including those given by Leon Fleisher, Menahem Pressler and John Lill and has performed at many venues throughout the U.K. Austria, France, Germany, and Holland where he appeared at the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam. He gave a highly successful recital at the University Concert Hall in Cardiff in the autumn of 2007 following which he was invited to give a lunchtime recital at St. David’s Hall, Cardiff.
